The Magic HoursDuring the
magic hours,
when
tongues tasted
delicious lips
and soft palms
skated over skin,
a blind mind
let a heart lead
and oh, how it lead.
Your fingers read
my body like braille;
touching
flame to fuse
so I might soar
skyward
to burst among
the stars.
My sparkles now know
their residence
where they patiently,
infinitely
shine;
awaiting thine-
eyes to rise
and observe

Steampunk 6by ~elroyhavoc

This "steampunk" series should be pretty extensive. I've teamed up with some VERY talented people who will be credited below to shoot a "look book" (a catalog, basically) for their clothes and accessories lines. I can't wait to see how all these turn out. We have five different models and we're shooting in an abandoned bank vault in the basement of a building in downtown Dallas. Wait and watch kids, wait and watch!

I'm not seeing the "Steam punk",
it's got the 30s-Pulp/action thing. Post industrial / far future science fiction as far as I can see.

Clearly you have a different definition of steampunk from the many fans of the genre who have seen this photo and consider it to be a steampunk related image. Steampunk may be well defined as a sub-genre of science fiction, but it is not so well defined as a genre of fashion. Most people on the outskirts of the scene will tell you that as long as bronze goggle are involved, it's automatically steampunk. I can assure you that the clothing designers in this case are most legitimately invested in steampunk sub-culture, but they are trying to innovate and be creative with steampunk's influence on fashion, not just re-create exactly what has already been seen in video games and japanese animation. If it's not steampunk enough for you, I'm sorry. But I'm pretty sure that 9/10 steampunk fans would tell you that this image is most definitely influenced by, or at least alludes to steampunk. I'm pretty sure the statistics to the right on your screen and the groups it has been featured in should prove that.
